Our Awards
Recognizing the achievements and impact of our members
The ASA, CSSA, and SSSA Awards programs celebrate excellence in agronomic, crop, soil, and environmental sciences—from emerging student leaders to seasoned professionals shaping the future of our disciplines.
Each award recognizes outstanding contributions in research, education, service, and leadership. We are proud to honor individuals whose work reflects the values and vision of our Societies. Award recipients are recognized annually at our CANVAS awards ceremonies and featured in CSA News.

CANVAS travel awards
One of the most sought after member benefits are the many travel awards available to attend CANVAS, our annual meeting. Travel awards deliver a variety of opportunities, experiences, and provide financial support to be a part of the premier scientific event. These awards enable students and professionals to presenting their research, networking with experts, and advancing their careers.
Travel awards are now closed, however, below is a list of 2025 Awards that were available to our members.
We encourage all interested applicants to check back in early 2026 when the next award cycle opens. Award timelines vary by program, so visit the Awards Hub for the most up-to-date information.
