About ASA: Agronomy feeds the world
The American Society of Agronomy (ASA), established in 1907, is the leading scientific and professional organization dedicated to advancing agronomy and sustainable agricultural practices. Headquartered in Madison, WI, ASA serves 6,000+ members and 12,000+ Certified Crop Advisers, facilitating the development, dissemination, and application of innovative agronomic solutions. ASA offers a range of programs and services tailored to its members and certified professionals.
In alignment with shared strategic objectives, ASA collaborates with the Crop Science Society of America (CSSA) and the Soil Science Society of America (SSSA) under the Alliance of Crops, Soils, and Environmental Science Societies (ACSESS). Each member society operates independently with its own bylaws and governing boards of directors. Additionally, the Agronomic Science Foundation (ASF) provides support for the activities, programs, and projects of ASA, CSSA, and SSSA.
