Social Media

In today’s increasingly fast-paced world, social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter are rapidly becoming the easiest and, in many cases, most effective way to interact with members of Congress. Social media allows constituents to interact with their members of Congress in real time, like never before. This form of advocacy also attracts greater community involvement for a more open and varied discussion. Find your members of Congress here and see if they participate in any social media outlets (House and Senate). The Science Policy Office can provide you with sample emails, tweets and messages to help bring greater awareness to food, agriculture and natural resource policy issues.
