- S. B. Weed and
- R. A. Leonard2
An inexpensive heating sample plate for X-ray diffraction studies of clay minerals is described. The plate is supported on a machined massive pyrophyllite base which fits in the sample mount of an X-ray diffractometer. Temperatures up to 450C are readily attained. Please view the pdf by using the Full Text (PDF) link under 'View' to the left.
