Abstract

Although much research has been carried out on nodulation and nitrogen fixation of soybeans [Glycine max (L.) Merr.], the majority of field studies have centered on nodules which have developed within the Ap soil horizon. This research provides evidence demonstrating that nodulation does occur to 1 m depth.
