Zinc Concentration in Hop Leaves in Relation to Adequate and Inadequate Levels of Zinc Nutrition1

Synopsis

Synopsis

Healthy, high-producing hop plants were found to have leaf zinc concentrations above 15 ppm at bloom stage. Leaves from plants with zinc deficiency symptoms generally had zinc concentrations below 12 ppm. The critical level for zinc is thus indicated to be between 12 and 15 ppm.
