Effects of Soil Moisture Regime on Yield and Evapotranspiration from Cool-Season Perennial Forage Species1
- O. L. Bennett and
- B. D. Doss2
All species showed an increase in yield up to the intermediate moisture regime. Water was used by all species in proportion to the amounts available for evapotranspiration. Soil moisture was first extracted near the surface and at successively lower depths as soil moisture tension increased near the surface. Please view the pdf by using the Full Text (PDF) link under 'View' to the left.
