Synopsis

Synopsis

Grain yields of 3,032, 2,346, and 2,201 pounds per acre were obtained from barley, oats, and wheat, respectively. Small grains utilized the nitrogen in sewage effluent as efficiently as they used the nitrogen in commercial fertilizer to produce high protein grain. Sewage effluent had no effect on the D. L. N. and bushel weight of barley, oats, and wheat.
