Synopsis

Synopsis

Increases in readily oxidizable organic matter, carbon, and nitrogen with stubble mulching for 14 and 19 years ranged from 5 to 10% and were concentrated in the surface inch of soil. There were no measurable differences between tillage treatments at depths of 1 to 6 and 6 to 12 inches.
