Synopsis

Synopsis

Two mass-screening technics were effective in increasing the range of hard seededness in common crimson clover so that progeny lines with a higher percentage of hard seed were obtained. Reselection within the lines by .the water-soak method increased the average percentage of hard seed and the upper limit of the range of hard seededness.
