Cover Crop Management Community

In recent years, cover crops have received renewed attention in relation to soil and water conservation, soil fertility and plant nutrition, soil health, and overall crop production. At the Annual Meeting, several ASA Communities and CSSA and SSSA Divisions have held sessions devoted to cover crops. To aid in bringing all of the disciplines together, a Cover Crop Management Community was formed under the ASA Land Management Section and approved by the ASA Board in December 2013.

A Community focused on cover crops allows for an avenue of involvement across many disciplines and result in both focused and broad-based topical sessions, symposia, and a graduate student competition. To join our community, click here.
