Graduate Student Leadership Conference

This award allows for self nominations only. The graduate student leadership conference will be an intermittant five days of skills sessions including public speaking, professionalism, leadership styles, science communication, and ethics. The conference will also provide networking opportunities with other grad students, Society leadership, and industry representatives.
Seventy-five students will be chosen to participate based on this application. Some meals and materials will be provided throughout the length of the conference, but applicants must have their own funding for all nights in a hotel. Applicants are encouraged to reserve that hotel room now in expectation of being chosen (there is no fee to cancel a room, if cancelled before November). Students who attended the conference last year are not eligible.
All applicants will be notified of selection status by July 20, 2016.
